When does puberty start? 🗓 • Girls: usually between 8 and 13 years • Boys: usually between 9 and 14 years That's why starting the conversation around age 8 is ideal — before the changes begin. Know your body. 🌸 Signs you should never ignore 👇 • A new lump or thickening in the breast or underarm • A change in size, shape or contour of the breast • Skin changes — dimpling, puckering or redness • Nipple changes — turning inward, or any discharge (especially blood-stained) • Persistent pain in one spot 3 simple habits that protect you 🩷 🪞 Self-check monthly — learn what's normal for YOU 🩺 Clinical breast exam with your doctor 📋 Mammogram screening as advised (usually from age 40 — earlier if there's a family history) Here's the reassuring part: most breast lumps are NOT cancer. I vaccinated my own 9-year-old son against HPV. Here's why every parent should too. 👇 HPV doesn't only cause cervical cancer.
